NEW! Pizza & Pipistrelles - an evening for you and a friend
Join us for a relaxed summer evening at Bore Place, where you’ll learn about bats, enjoy a delicious farm-made pizza, and watch these fascinating creatures emerge at dusk.
The evening begins with a short talk about bats from our resident ecologist, introducing you to the secret lives of bats and how to use bat detectors. Then, collect your freshly made pizza - crafted with organic ingredients from our farm - and find a cosy spot in the garden of our historic manor house to enjoy your meal. Bring your camping chairs or a blanket, and share a pizza as the sun sets. As darkness falls, watch the bats emerge for the evening, and listen in on their ultrasonic calls as they flit through the evening sky.
Your ticket includes:
✔️ A delicious vegetarian pizza to share, made with organic produce grown onsite
✔️ A bottle of local beer or an organic soft drink each
✔️ Use of a bat detector for the evening
Perfect for date night, or special evening with a friend - this is a unique way to spend an evening outdoors, surrounded by nature.
