Young people are spending less time outdoors and becoming increasingly disconnected from nature—contributing to a national mental health crisis among children and young people.
At the same time, we are facing a climate and nature emergency. The effects of climate change are becoming more visible each year, and biodiversity is in sharp decline.
Through this programme, we aim to engage local young people with the natural world at Bore Place—helping them understand how they can be part of the solution, while also experiencing the mental health benefits of time spent in nature. Our goal is to inspire a lasting connection to the outdoors and a lifelong commitment to protecting it.
