CAN I BRING MY DOG TO BORE PLACE?
Yes! Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times as we have livestock and also many young and vulnerable people visiting us. There is a bin for dog waste in our recycling area behind the Large Barn.

IS THERE PARKING? 
Yes, there is a free car park which can accommodate 50-60 vehicles.

IS THERE AN ELECTRIC CHARGING POINT?
Unfortunately, we don’t currently have any EVCPs – this is something we hope to remedy in the near future. In the meantime, the nearest charging points are in Sevenoaks and Tonbridge.

DO YOU SELL MILK? 
Yes, we do! We have a vending machine in our Farm Gate area right by the car park where you can buy organic milk.

CAN I BUY RAW MILK?
We don’t sell raw milk but you can buy lightly pasteurised whole organic milk from our vending machine.

CAN I SEE THE COWS? 
Our cows are milked twice a day for most of the year and you can see them being milked
by visiting our Milking Parlour which is signposted from the car park.

IS THERE A CAFE? 
We don’t have a café at Bore Place but you can buy organic ice creams in the summer and other farm produce, including cheese, milk and fresh organic veg from our self-service vending machines throughout the year.

How to find us

Bore Place, Bore Place Road, Chiddingstone, Edenbridge, Kent, TN8 7AR 

By Car:
From the Causeway Stores/Post Office in Chiddingstone Causeway follow the B2027 west. Take the third turning on the right into Bore Place Road. It is signposted ‘Bore Place’.

Travel along the avenue of trees; at the first junction, where the road narrows go straight on (right hand of fork). After around half a mile take the first turning left into our drive, signposted ‘Bore Place’. Continue along the drive, over the cattle grids until you reach the car park on the right.

Please note: our postal address is Chiddingstone, but our nearest village is Chiddingstone Causeway. 

By Taxi:
Taxis are available from Sevenoaks station. If you are staying on site we recommend pre-booking taxis to pick you up from Bore Place. Beeline is a local company that knows us well. 


By Rail from London: 

A frequent service runs from London Charing Cross, Waterloo East and London Bridge to Sevenoaks station. Travel time 30-35 minutes. There is a less frequent service from London Victoria: change at Bromley South for Sevenoaks. Our nearest smaller station is Penshurst is around 2.6 miles away and has frequent connections to Tonbridge and Redhill, but it is not easy to get a taxi from here but if you are happy to walk it is our nearest. Hildenborough and Hever stations are both about five miles away and relatively flat and comfortable to cycle to.  

By Air: 
London Gatwick is the nearest airport (approx. 22 miles / 45 minutes by car)

Parking:
We have free car and coach parking on site.  Please note that currently there aren't any Electric Vehicle Charging Points at Bore Place, the nearest ones are located in Edenbridge.
