Join us for a peaceful night walk as we watch the moonrise and stroll through the market garden and farmland, letting the moonlight guide our way. We’re lucky to be in a dark sky area, where the night sky remains free from light pollution, allowing us to fully appreciate the beauty of the Harvest Moon and the stars above.✨
As we wander under the starlit sky, the brilliant Edenbridge and District Astronomers will sharing stories about the Moon’s vital role in ancient agricultural traditions - and why its presence is so crucial for our planet today. 🌍🌾
This is a night walk of awe, learning, and connection to both the past and the natural world. We can’t wait to share the magic of the Harvest Moon with you!
In case of bad weather, we’ll have illustrated talks indoors, bringing the magic of the Harvest Moon to life with stories and images.
Important Info
- Please dress for the weather and wear sturdy boots or wellies.
- The walk will be over uneven ground so may not be suitable for those with limited mobility or wheelchair users. Please enquire if you would like further information.
- This event is suitable for children aged 11+. For younger children interested in joining, please give us a call to discuss before booking. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
