Festive Chutney Cooking Workshop

Number of Adults

Adult tickets: £65.00

Preserve the harvest with a mouth-wateringly delicious chutney ready for your Christmas cheeseboard!

Join Bore Place chef, Natalie Harris, in the kitchen to make a festive chutney from Bore Place organic produce. The first part of the morning will be a walk out to see the Market Garden and meet organic grower, Metske van der Laan, for a short talk about how growing organically is important for the soil, and for the veg.

You'll collect a harvest basket direct from the grower, and return to the kitchen to turn it into a festive, spiced chutney to take home and enjoy. It'll be the perfect addition to your Christmas cheese board, and a gorgeous gift for friends and family.

What's included in the workshop:

  • Fresh organic produce
  • Approx 4 jars of your very own festive chutney made during the session to take home
  • Recipe sheet
  • Refreshments (teas, coffee and water)
  • Equipment and apron to use for the workshop

What to bring:

  • A sharp kitchen knife (please wrap to transport)
  • Closed-toe shoes suitable for kitchen wear
  • Boots or wellies for a short (possibly muddy!) walk to the market garden
  • Please dress for the kitchen environment - long-sleeved tops, trousers
  • Something to tie long hair back
