Astronomy Evening: Marvellous Mars

Number of Adults

Adult tickets: £10.00

This evening is all about Mars...

Did you know Mars only approaches the Earth every second year, and it is only close to us for two months - and today is the perfect time to view the Red Planet! This evening talk from the Edenbridge and District Astronomers will focus on Mars and if the weather permits (both on Earth and on Mars!), there will be a telescope set up for observing, too. With a clear sky, we'll hope to see the polar caps and surface markings on the planet.

Important Info

  • In case of suitable observing weather, please bring warm clothing and wear sturdy boots for going outside.
  • This evening is aimed at an adult audience, but would be suitable for very interested older children. Please call us to discuss before booking. Children must be accompanied at all times.

We want our events to be accessible for all – please let us know if you require any additional information or adjustments and we will do our best to accommodate you.
