Become a wildlife explorer for a day
Explore the Bore Place estate and discover what’s living right on your doorstep. We need your help to find and identify as many different species as you can during the day.
You are welcome to head out alone to see what you can find, or you can join a species walk and learn how to ID and spot different species throughout the afternoon. You can record your sightings on the Bore Place wildlife app, or if you prefer, you can take out a clipboard and paper.
Younger explorers can pick up a spotter sheet and explore the gardens to see how many they can find.
Just like a real real scientific expedition, all data logged on the Bore Place app will be used to help monitor species populations at Bore Place over time.
Please book a free ticket to help us have an idea of numbers, and so we can contact you regarding the event.
