A nocturnal quest to see bats and their amazing aerial acrobatics and other night time animals. After a short introduction about these fascinating little creatures, you’ll be guided on a night walk around Bore Place farm, along footpaths and around the historic buildings at the heart of the estate. Have you ever used a bat detector? Now is your chance to have a go, listening for bats as they leave their roosts and fly out to catch insects. Of course we hope to find bats, but please bear in mind that we can't control the wildlife and occasionally we don't find anything. We also hope to spot some other wildlife – possibly deer or hares – and we might even hear owls!
