Let's go and spot butterflies!
Learn how to ID common butterflies, and spot as many as you can on a guided walk through the Bore Place estate. You'll wander through the meadow and explore the market garden - are there different butterflies in each area? During your walk, you will be joining in with our Citizen Science project, undertaking one of our butterfly surveys! The data collected will be used as part of our wildlife species monitoring efforts.
Feel free to extend your visit and spend time at the playground. There are picnic benches and you can buy an ice cream from the Farm Gate, as well as produce fresh from the farm.
Please bear in mind that whilst we very much hope to spot butterflies, we cannot control the wildlife and there is a chance we won't find anything!
Tickets are FREE but must be pre-booked on this page.
