See the bats after dark...
There are lots of bats living in the Oast House at Bough Beech and every night, soon after dusk, they fly from their roosts to catch insects to eat. Join us for a special after-dark event at Bough Beech where you can settle in for the evening and wait for the bats to fly out. We'll arm you with bat detectors so you can hear the bats too!
Bring a folding chair, a blanket, a snack and a torch so you're ready to wait for the bats to come out.
Please bear in mind that whilst we very much hope to see and hear bats, we cannot control the wildlife and there is a chance we won't find anything!
Tickets are FREE but must be pre-booked on this page.
Please note this event is at Bough Beech nature reserve. You will be sent the location of the car parking area on your reminder email - please keep an eye out for your email a few days before.
