Minibus Driver (Fixed-term to July 2026, part-time/term-time only)
Hours: ad hoc on a month-by-month basis
Salary: £17 per hour

Bore Place is seeking a Minibus Driver starting on the 10th November to transport pupils from local primary schools to our beautiful countryside site for educational visits. This is a rewarding opportunity to play a key role in supporting young people’s learning experiences in a unique environment.
The role involves safely driving the Bore Place minibus between local schools and Bore Place, ensuring the comfort, safety, and wellbeing of all passengers.
We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys working with children, and will represent Bore Place with warmth and professionalism.
Essential:

A current, clean D1 (unrestricted) or PSV licence.

At least two years’ driving experience.

Reliable, trustworthy, and committed to safety.

Friendly and approachable with good communication skills.

Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Ranger (Fixed-term, 1 year)
Hours: full-time
Salary: £25,000-£30,000 (depending on experience)
We’re excited to announce a new Ranger role at Bore Place, made possible through our collaborative relationship with and funding from SES Water. This one-year position will help us to continue putting nature at the heart of everything we do, supporting our vision for thriving wildlife and people.
The Ranger will play a hands-on role in managing habitats across Bore Place and Bough Beech, delivering practical conservation work in line with our habitat management plans. They will lead and support volunteers, work experience students, and community groups, as well as conduct ecological surveys, monitor wildlife, and help ensure best practice in conservation management.

Trustee
Hours: quarterly Board meetings (typically 3–4 hours) and occasional committee or working group sessions. While remote access is possible, in-person attendance is preferred.
Salary: This role is unremunerated; however, reasonable expenses may be covered
